Select groups, columns, sample intervals, or fields from a dataset

Description

Select an inclusive range of groups, limit the number of columns checked or
written, and crop sampled vectors to a time interval. Use remove to drop
specified scalar or vector fields from the output schema. The requested time
interval must intersect every retained vector. FIELD.min and FIELD.max apply
inclusive scalar field-value limits. Unknown parameter names are rejected.
